I love the beautiful postcards of the Lake District that were produced in the early 1900’s. I believe these were photographs that were skilfully hand coloured and then printed as postcards. The views and colours are stunning. I think they should be admired again so have sought out original postcards, most of which have been posted over 100 yers ago, and used them in creating little Lake District scenes with the addition of tiny hiking figures who are enjoying the beautiful views.

The postcards are ‘float’ mounted with tiny model figures in a 27 × 27cm box frame.
